Karachi Red Bus R10: Routes, Timings, and Fares

In a groundbreaking move to revolutionize public transportation in Karachi, the Sindh government has introduced the eagerly awaited “People’s Bus Service.” This innovative addition to Karachi’s transport network meticulously crafted to provide efficient and easily accessible transit options for the city’s residents.

The newly launched People’s Bus Service boasts air-conditioned red buses with approximately 40 comfortable seats, including dedicated areas for women. To ensure inclusivity, an additional standing room is available for up to 40 passengers. This initiative aims to redefine the commuting experience for Karachiites.

Karachi Red Bus R10 Fares:

Most routes under the People’s Bus Service have a standard fare of PKR 100, with the exception of Route 9, where the fare is PKR 150 after Malir Halt. This budget-friendly pricing strategy makes the service accessible to a broad spectrum of commuters, fostering widespread usage.

Operating from 7 am to 10 pm, the buses provide a consistent and reliable service throughout the day. During peak hours, buses run at a 15-minute interval, ensuring prompt transportation. During off-peak hours, the interval extended to 30 minutes, maintaining a reliable schedule for commuters.

One of the standout features of the People’s Bus Service is Route 10, covering a distance of 27.8 kilometers from Numaish Chowrangi to Ibrahim Hyderi. This route traverses through prominent landmarks and essential destinations, connecting the city center to the coastal areas.

Starting from Numaish Chowrangi, Route 10 takes passengers through Taj Complex, Capri Cinema, Mobile Market, Regal, Abdullah Haroon, Zainab Market, Fawara Chowk, Metropole, Frere Hall, PSO Head Office, 3 Talwar, Ocean Mall, 2 Talwar, Abdullah Shah Ghazi Mazar, Bagh Ibn E Qasim, Dolmen Mall Clifton, Seaview Clock Tower, Khayaban e Ittehad, DHA Phase 7, DHA Phase 6, DHA Phase 2, KPT Interchange, Korangi Crossing, Indus Hospital, CBM University, PARCO, and finally, Ibrahim Hyderi.
