Everything you need to know about Dancing on Ice 2024

Celebrity skating competition Dancing on Ice will be returning to our screens for its 16th season later this month! Here’s everything you need to know about the 2024 series.

Who is competing on Dancing on Ice 2024?

This year, there will be a total of 12 celebrity contestants taking to the ice:

  • Adele Roberts – BBC Radio 1 presenter
  • Amber Davies – Love Island winner and West End performer
  • Claire Sweeney – actress and television presenter
  • Eddie the Eagie – Olympuc ski jumper (replacing Gogglebox’s Stephen Lustig-Webb who was forced to pull out due to an injury)
  • Greg Rutherford – Olympic long jumper
  • Hannah Spearritt – S Club 7 singer and actress
  • Lou Sanders – stand-up comedian and writer
  • Miles Nazaire – Made in Chelsea star
  • Ricky Hatton – professional boxer
  • Ricky Norwood – Eastenders actor
  • Roxy Shahidi – Emmerdale actress
  • Ryan Thomas – Coronation Street actor

Who are the professional skaters?

There are 12 professional skaters on the series this year, including returning favourites and four new faces!

Who will be hosting Dancing on Ice?

This year’s series will be hosted by returning presenter Holly Willoughby, who will be joined by ITV favourite Stephen Mulhern. Speaking about the new presenter line-up, ITV’s head of entertainment commissioning Katie Rawcliffe said: “Holly and Stephen are two of our best loved presenters, so reuniting them 20 years after they first appeared on screen together to host Dancing On Ice marks the start of an exciting year for the show.” The pair made their TV breakthrough hosting Saturday morning children’s show Ministry Of Mayhem 20 years ago.

Who is on the judging panel?

Our favourite judges will also be returning for the 16th series, with Oti Mabuse, Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, and Ashley Banjo ready to give their critique on the stars’ performances.

When can I watch Dancing on Ice?

Dancing on Ice will return to ITV and ITV X on Sunday, January 14 at 6.30pm.
